You pull the rudder on your sailboat. There is no point in sailing out much further. You've had your fill at this point. You should get back to shore.
(display: "Clouds Come")You scoff at the casiouous voice inside your head. Where is your thrill of adventure? The shore can wait, a beautiful day this like cannot!
(display: "Clouds Come")You start to see clouds. Dark grey clouds, and they are coming for you upon you fast. Why didn't you see them before? Before you can react, you feel rain start to come down on your skin. The waves break along side your sailboat and you start to get worried. Where did this stormn come from?
Now an eerie fog starts to set in along side the waves. It whipes away the visiblity you had for miles and morphs it into a transparent mess. You can still see, and you might be able to get your way back out of this, but it will be tough.
[[You try to out run the storm.|Out Run]]
[[You bunker down in your ship and wait it out.|Hide]]You push your engine to its max. You're going to need the speed if you're going to make it out of this storm before it gets worse. You stab the fog with your bow, hopeing to find a quick way out of this.
The fog thickens. The waves seemed to have settled down a bit, but your visiblity is now shot. You cannot grasp where you are going much anymore.
(display: "Hit!")You go beneath the deck. You hope that your ship will be able to whether the storm. Although it isn't the strongest ship in exisit, the ship has fought its way through its fair shar of storms before.
(display: "Hit!"){(if: (history:) contains "Test Fire")[You scramble up the ladder and onto your agressor. You hope to make peace with whatever tried to threathen you. Why would they want to sink your precious escape?]
(else:)[You take one step at a time, shifting your foot around on each rope rung before moving your weight onto it. You don't want to lose your life to a failure to climb a ladder. Besides, you're expected on board now.]}
You get both feet onto the new ship's deck and look around and find yourself shocked. The boat is being piloted by skeletons! Skeletons wearing eye patches and hooks: Skeleton Pirates!
"I thought you were never going to come on board!" you see one skeleton donned with a red bananda walk along the edge of the ship and towards you.
[[You try to knock him off board.|Outnumbered]]
[[You listen to what he has to say.|Requested]]A voice calls down to you, "You going to come upboard?"
[[You climb the ladder onto the boat.|Welcome Aboard]]
[[You call back, "Nah."|Test Fire]]*thud*
Your boat has hit something. Land hopefully. But as you peer out from the bow, you see wood. A wooden ship. A large wooden ship.
You watch as a rope ladder falls down in front of you. It wiggles in the breeze, almost beckening you to climb it.
[[You climb the ladder onto the boat.|Welcome Aboard]]
[[You keep standing where you are.|Coming?]]"Okay then."
A large *thud* rings out behind you. You turn around to find that your boat is now donning a giant whole across its bow. Water is starting to make its way inside.
[[You hurry up the ladder onto the boat.|Welcome Aboard]]
[[You return fire with a "Do you think that's going to scare me?"|Down With The Ship]]A "yes" is fired, along with two more cannon shots. Your ship, while strong enough to survive a storm, isn't strong enough to survive naval combat and start to slip under the waves.
Soon, you find yourself being swept away, your stubborn actions being washed away with your life.
The end.You swing your arm at your at the bonely fiend in front of you. You knock his skull off its perch and into the waves below.
Suddenly, you are swarmed by pirates. Probably wasn't a good idea to attack one of their own. There is one of you and only a ton of them. You find yourself grabbed and pulled across the ship and off the other side. Looks like they want you to join their breatheren in the ocean, but not have the luxury of your boat new by. Looks like they thought this through more than you did.
You plead with the pirates to stop this madness. (mouseover: "You plead with the pirates to stop this madness.")[(go-to: "Sunk")]
You swing your body parts around, trying to cause anything to happen. (mouseover: "You swing your body parts around, trying to cause anything to happen.")[(go-to: "Sunk")]The bananada skeleton begins to speak again but is cut off by a booming voice from across the bow.
(text-color: yellow)["Why did you bring this sack of flesh onto my ship (text-style: "rumble")[Jenkins!]"]
You two watch as a larger skeleton walks over from out of the shadows. He is donned with a large hat, tucked with a feather and a stiched on skull and bones. On his shoulder is the skeletoal remains of a parrot.
He leans down from his towering position and glares at you.
(text-color: orange)["Well, I don't know really captain,"] Jenkins' says. (text-color: orange)["I figured they might be of some use to us."]
The captain cranks his neck to the side. (text-color: yellow)["What use would this thing have for us?"]
[[You agree with the captain. You are pretty useless.|Silence]]

Before you can do anything, you find yourslef flying through the air towards the water below. You think you'll be fine though, since it is just water after all. You could probably swim towards your ship and be just fine. (if: (history:) contains "Test Fire")[But then you remember that it has probably sank already, so you start to do a panic flail in the air.]
You end up not even getting a chance to swim, though, as a shark jumps out of the water below and gulps you up. You wonder, as you find yourself being chomped to pieces, if the skeleton pirates has planned for that shark to be there. If so, then they had way better planning skills than you. And they don't even have a brain anymore.(text-color: yellow)["SILENCE!"] You stop whatever you were saying and gulp. The captain stares at you for a bit longer, before clutching his ribs and starting to laugh.
(text-color: yellow)["Man, I miss doing this,"] the captain says after his laugh dies down. (text-color: yellow)["It's been dull here ever since our last captive escaped. I miss him terribly so. (text-color: orange)["And bed time stories!"]
(text-color: yellow)["Yeah...and that to."] The captain bends down to you and stares you eye to eye. Well, eye socket to eye.
(text-color: yellow)["Say, are you a good storyteller? That might be the one use that we have for you. Right now, we're low on human supplies, so I don't think we can keep one on board unless they have a practical use."]
[[You say that you an all-star storyteller. If there was a Mt. Rushmore of storytellers, you would be the third face on there.|Story On]]
[[You apologize and say that you cannot tell the difference between a story arc and Noah's ark.|Discarded]]"Ah, okay then." the pirate captian turns and walks away. "Let's toss this trash then back where is belongs.
(display: "Sunk")You say, "I'll tell you the tale of why I'm here."
Eyebrows shoot up on both of the men. Travis' face stays stoic, but Jenkins slips into a gapping smile and elbows Travis. Travis shoots eye daggers back at Jenkins, in hope of keeping him professional, but it is not effective.
